2005-October 2009 Tom Dascombe
Tom Dascombe was born in Bristol on 30th April 1973 to Bill and Sue Dascombe and has fond memories of riding a pony when he was just 3 years old, and spent time at Henry Candy's stables on the outskirts of Lambourn before joining Martin Pipe to gain further experience. In 1995 he made his way back to Lambourn to assist Ralph Beckett at Windsor House stables before moving on to the South African trainer Mike de Kock. He launched his own training career in Lambourn in 2005 aged 31, using One Way Stables on Folly Road, where Felstead Court stables and High View stables are located.

He founded Oneway Racing, specialising in the training of 2-year-olds, although he did get back-to-back Group 2 winners at Newmarket in July 2008, firstly in the July Stakes with Classic Blade, and then the Superlative Stakes with Ole Ole. Between 2005 and October 2009 he won 130 races from just 818 runners, an impressive strike rate of 16%. On the back of such successes he was offered the chance to move north to train at Manor House Stables, owned by Michael Owen, where he trained successfully for 12 years.

December 2011-2012 Alastair Lidderdale
Alastair Lidderdale, born in March 1964 at Taplow, Bucks, is the son of David Vulliamy Lidderdale and his wife Felicity (nee Ashton). Alastair learnt his trade from some of the best Flat and National Hunt trainers of their generation, beginning as pupil assistant with Peter Walwyn at Seven Barrows, Lambourn, before moving to Condicote with David Nicholson to observe how a top-class national Hunt stable should be run. He then became Assistant trainer to Martin Pipe in the West country and in an 8-year spell with Pipe he was given the opportunity to be fully in charge of Pipe's second yard. Alastair then felt the time was right to gain additional experience in a predominantly Flat race yard, joining Paul Cole on the Whatcombe Estate; afterwards teaming up with Hughie Morrison. He was successful in applying for his own trainer's licence in February 2002, basing himself at Uplands Stables in Compton, training for owner George Ward. The pair enjoyed a successful 2 years together, especially with Glacial Sunset who won the Mirage Signs Handicap Hurdle at Wincanton, following up in a minor Handicap at Hereford before landing the 2002 Pertemps Handicap Hurdle Qualifier at Cheltenham at 16/1. In 2004 Alastair thought the time was right to set up on his own account, rather than being tied to George Ward, and transferred to Eastbury Cottage Stables near Lambourn in 2004, remaining there for almost 8 years before moving to High View stables on the Folly Road in Lambourn in December 2011.

2012-2018 Daniel Kubler
Daniel Kubler, born circa 1983, was educated at Royal High Wycombe Grammar School before attending the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester in 2003. He graduated with a BSc in International Equine and Agricultural Management and, with the long-term aim of becoming a racehorse trainer, he endeavoured to gain experience both in this country and abroad, including spells with Gai Waterhouse in Australia and Francois Doumen in France. He acted as pupil assistant to Roger Charlton at Beckhampton Stables, Marlborough between 2007 and 2009, after which he spent 3 months as sales assistant at John Warren Bloodstock. In January 2010 he was presented with an opportunity to act as assistant trainer to the American Ben Cecil at his Southern California stables, returning to the UK in March 2011. He successfully applied for a trainer's licence in 2011 and launched his training career at High View Stables on Folly Road, Lambourn. Claire Kubler benefitted from being around horses from an early age, growing up on her parent's stud farm before reading Natural Sciences at Cambridge. She gained experience with Patrick Gallagher in California, John Warren Bloodstock and at Jeremy Noseda's Shalfleet Stables, Newmarket. Daniel and Claire got married on Saturday 12th May 2012 and, at this point in time, the Jockey Club did not allow joint ownership of the trainer's licence, so Daniel continued with the licence. This was rectified in May 2020 when the Jockey Club modernised their rules to enable Daniel and Claire to jointly own the licence for Kubler Racing. Between 2012 and 2018 Spin Again and Il Paparazzi were money-spinners, but in 2018 the pair moved to Sarsen Farm Stables in Upper Lambourn.

Late 2018-2019 Empty
Once Daniel and Claire Kubler transferred to Sarsens Farm Stables, High View stables remained empty until Dominic Ffrench Davis moved in.

2019-present Dominic Ffrench Davis
Dominic Ffrench Davis, born circa 1966 in County Meath, was associated with animals from a very early age, as his father was a vet, but he can also trace back family links with racing to his great-grandfather, Captain F Ffrench-Davis who owned and trained runners at Phoenix Park for a number of years. It is no surprise that he was a member of the local pony club, enjoyed hunting and attending point-to-point meetings. After completing his compulsory education Dominic, then aged 18, left Ireland and joined Paul Cole's stable at Whatcombe Estate, Berkshire as pupil assistant, and was there when Epsom Derby winner Generous was a foal. In the early 1990s he was with David Elsworth to gain further experience, joining at a time when In the Groove was winning the 1990 Irish 1000 Guineas, International Stakes and Champion Stakes, while the next year she won the 1991 Coronation Cup and Sandown Mile. But Elsworth was such a good trainer to learn from, being master of the Flat game with the likes of In the Groove, but also guiding the mighty Desert Orchid to his many National Hunt successes. In 1989 and 1990 the nation's most loved grey was at the peak of his career, winning the 1989 Cheltenham Gold Cup, the 1989 and 1990 King George VI Chase, and the 1990 Irish Grand National. Dominic spent 5 years with David Elsworth, at the end of which he thought the time was right to apply for his own trainer's licence, and he began training in 1994. In Summer 1996 he married Avery Whitfield, daughter of permit holder John Whtifield, Avery training at Windy Hollow on the outskirts of Lambourn. Dominic then leased 12 boxes at Saxon House stables before moving to Upshire Stables between 2013 and 2019, but when High View Stables became available, Dominic transferred in 2019.
